Eveready Do Crore Ka Dum Offer (hereinafter referred to as “Offer”) is a limited period Offer valid from 1st Nov 2011 to 1st Feb 2012 , both days inclusive (hereinafter referred to as “Offer Period”), from Eveready Industries India Limited (hereinafter referred to as “EIIL”).
Indian Nationals residing in India are eligible to participate in this Offer. Employees and their family members of EIIL and its affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives are not eligible to participate.
The Offer is valid on 950 D size batteries, 1050 D size batteries, 950DS D size batteries and specific Eveready Lantern models (HL01, HL05, HL08). The said products are also available in the market without this Offer.
Total worth of prizes to be distributed amongst the winners of the offer is Rs.2 crores.
The Prizes Offered at the end of the Offer Period are:
Mobile phones worth Rs. 1400 each.
Cycles worth Rs. 3000 each.
Eveready Lanterns worth Rs. 250 each.
Eveready Torches worth Rs. 200 each.
The images of the prizes depicted in all forms of communication of the Offer are indicative in nature and do not reflect the actual nature of the prize.
EIIL is neither responsible for guaranteeing the quality of the prizes nor is liable for any deficiencies/ defects in the same. EIIL will not be responsible for any guarantee/ warranty/ terms and conditions the Offer partners may make in relation to the products/ services Offered by them. The prizes shall be governed by the warranty policy for the said prize.
EIIL shall not be liable under any circumstances towards any loss or damage or expenses or cost or any third party liability, whether directly or indirectly, arising out or in relation to use or availing of any prizes and/or in connection with the said prizes as the case may be.
All prizes will be subject to Indian laws, including tax regulation, as and when applicable. All applicable taxes, levies, charges and incidental costs including Octroi charges and TDS, if applicable on any prize, will have to borne by the winners.
EIIL reserves the right to terminate, modify or extend the Offer and the terms and conditions of the Offer at any time without prior notice at its absolute discretion and without assigning any reason.
The decision of EIIL pertaining to Offer will be final and non-contestable.
Prizes cannot be encashed for money.
All promotional materials, including details on how to enter and claim prizes are part of these Terms and Conditions for Entry. This Offer is being made purely on a "best effort" basis.
The Offer shall not be extendable and/or transferable and cannot be clubbed with any other Offer.
When you buy any two of the specified D size batteries or any one of the select lantern models, you can collect a participation coupon from the retailer. You may then fill up the necessary details (Name, contact number) and detach the filled up part and drop it into one of the drop boxes placed at specified retail outlets. Details of these drop boxes will be available with the retailer.
The participant then has to retain the counter foil of the coupon as proof of participation in case he is declared a winner.
Multiple entries are permitted.
EIIL reserves the right to verify validity of entries and the details and eligibility of the Participants. EIIL also reserves the right to disqualify incomplete coupon entries. No responsibility will be accepted for coupon entries lost for any reason whatsoever, whether due to inaccessibility of a valid drop box, coupons lost at the retailer outlet, coupons not inserted correctly inside the box, coupons lost by the participant after being filled up.
Participation in the Offer is optional.
The Participants understand that participitating in the Offer implies acceptance to the terms and conditions of the Offer. All the Participants are deemed to have read the terms and conditions before participating in the Offer.
Winners shall be randomly selected at the end of the Offer period through a randomized lucky draw from the correctly filled up coupons received, received from the Participants only.
The names of the winners shall be announced on the URL www.evereadyindustries.com and/or in any other manner / medium as deemed appropriate by EIIL.
The winners shall be contacted on the mobile number which was mentioned by them on the participation coupon. EIIL shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any Participant who cannot be contacted on the mobile number which was indicated by him on the coupon.
The prize winners shall execute all such documentation as deemed necessary by EIIL and allow EIIL and their assignees to use, display, copy, modify, distribute, publish, sell, assign, exchange, license, sub-license, in all and all locations, in any medium, form or format, in any number, the picture, image or likeness and the reproductions of the winner, and any biographical information furnished by the winner to EIIL.
The winners shall be required to provide self attested proof of identity and the counter part of the coupon and any other documentation as required by law.
Atleast 4 to 6 weeks after intimating the winner of his/her winning shall be allowed for the delivery of the prizes.
Winners must claim the prize in the manner communicated by EIIL. In case the winner fails to claim the prize on or before the specified date, he/she shall be deemed to have surrendered the prize.
In case the winner is a minor, a parent or a legal guardian will be eligible to collect the prize on behalf of the minor, subject to verification as abovementioned.
The database of mobile numbers can be used by EIIL in future for any lawful purpose as deemed fit by EIIL.
In case of change in date of Offer / randomized draw or cancellation thereof for any reason beyond control of EIIL, EIIL shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever.
Unless otherwise indicated, EIIL shall deem any information voluntarily supplied during the course of the Offer and/or personal information provided by the Participants as “non-confidential”, which hereby discharges all obligations of confidentiality. EIIL shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute the information for its use to third parties without limitation.
In case of any dispute or difference in respect of or in connection with the Offer and/or the prizes herein, the decision of EIIL shall be final and binding on all concerned and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained in this regard.
All entrants, Participants and winners waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the Offer against EIIL.
EIIL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage due to Act of God, Govermental action, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for the same.
This Offer is not applicable in the State of Tamil Nadu and wherever prohibited by law.
All disputes relating to this Offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at Kolkata only to the exclusion of all other courts.
