Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs)

In 2007, Eveready forayed into the lighting business with the launch of a range of Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL).

In comparison to the general incandescent lamps, CFLs use lesser power to give out the same amount of light and save about 80% of the energy. Besides, CFLs also have a longer rated life of 6,000 hours as per IS: 15111 part 1 & 2.

While you save money because of lesser power consumption, energy savings achieved by the use of CFL helps reduce pressure on environment by reducing green house gases that cause global warming
